A great group of kids came out from Livonia DeJean Middle School in Richmond, CA. During day one they learned about personal growth, respect for the environment, and healthy living before getting out on the water at Crissy Field. Day two was action packed! Everyone overcame cold conditions at Ocean Beach and had a blast catching their first waves. Beach Patrol also gave us a valuable lesson on safety and riptides. It was all smiles during day three when we teamed up with the MeWater Foundation in Half Moon Bay. After a great week of surfing we all left having learned more about the ocean and ourselves. A big thanks to all of our volunteers and participants!
